ENLACES
A New Link between DHDC and the Community
DHDC is pleased to announce the formation of a new community outreach advisory group called ENLACES. ENLACES, which means “linkages” in Spanish, will be launched in May with a Steering Committee of current and former residents of Southwest Detroit who believe, as we do, that giving back to your community keeps the community healthy and alive.
ENLACES will be recruiting local business owners and individuals to help us develop new volunteer opportunities for DHDC as well as sponsor fundraising appeals and events. The goal of ENLACES is to create new linkages between DHDC and the community we serve with the participation of the people who know the community best: residents, business owners, employees, teachers and many others.
