General Motors has also been a DHDC partner since our founding in 1997. Most recently GM and its employees were the catalyst behind a year-long project to revitalize our facility beginning with an exterior “makeover” in fall 2007, a spring “makeover” in June, 2008 and the donation of enormous in-kind resources from at least six local companies to design, build, wire, heat and carpet our new Tech Hub Site/Long Distance Learning Center. These companies, including AISIN, Gahfari, John E Greene, Superior Electric, Angelo Iafrate, MCM and Landscape Concepts have donated thousands of hours, labor and dollars to the infrastructure of DHDC because of our longstanding partnership with GM.
