Sherwin-Williams
Sherwin-Williams became a DHDC partner in 2008 as a result of our affiliation with NCLR. Initially the company approached DHDC about a number of projects related to job creation and training as part of their marketing effort in the Latino community. However, thanks in part to our commitment in multi-level partnerships, Sherwin Williams also became a partner in the DHDC facility makeovers by donating paint, supplies and labor. In addition, one of the key regional managers for the company was born and raised in Southwest Detroit and has agreed to personally become involved in our new community outreach/individual giving initiative, ENLACES, in 2009.
