VisionIT
Vision IT is a leading Hispanic owned company in Detroit and nationwide. We began a new type of partnership with the company late in 2008 to develop an “annual sponsorship” in which we would work at many levels to provide resources for DHDC that include but are not limited to financial contributions. For example, the overhaul and rebuild of our website that is now underway is the result of Vision IT donating the time of a professional web developer. Vision IT employees were instrumental in providing clothing, toys and food to DHDC clients during the 2008 holiday season. One of our projects planned for summer 2009 is to develop an internal giving and mentoring program at the company to help send DHDC youth to sleep-away summer camp in August.
