G.O.O.D. Leadership Council
G.O.O.D.- Group Overcoming Obstacles in Detroit (G.O.O.D) is a youth leadership council of 50 created to empower young people from Southwest Detroit to rise above stereotypes by providing opportunities to develop leadership skills, gang violence prevention, community service, and inspiration. G.O.O.D creates positive development opportunities through activities organized by youth leaders that advocate to include their issues on the larger community agendas.
